Looking with new eyes

by Marcello Cutino, product designer and president of BCF design

During the Milanese design week BCF design will be present at Fuorisalone 2021 within the schedule of DDN HUB, the exhibition dedicated to solutions for contemporary living and living, a path full of installations, debates, moments of meeting and exhibitions, to deepen the various issues that revolve around design.

On Tuesday 7 September at 11.00 the product designer Marcello Cutino, president of BCF design, will introduce you to “Looking with new eyes” at the materials that live a new life in order to achieve greater eco-sustainability and a lower environmental impact on the planet.

We will travel on a journey of four stages: starting from the world of retreaded tires, we will subsequently explore the reality of used cans transformed into pans and then continue to the presentation of Tuleg, a new material deriving from second processes, and arrive at the Brescia-based company Frascio, witness of a thirty-year history of PVD technology applied for the first time to handles.

The event is free and will take place in Piazza del Cannone in Milan, between Parco Sempione and Castello Sforzesco. The official entrance will be next to the Triennale.
